Shannon Miller has been selected to attend the 1st Session for Olympic Medalists at the International Olympic Academy to be held next week in Olympia, Greece. Shannon will travel to Greece and join others from around the world who wish to study, learn and discuss the Olympic movement and the idea of Olympism.

While at her new summer gymnastics camp in Houston Texas Shannon took time out to hit a round with the Houston Chronicle's Doug Pike. They met out at Eagles Pointe Golf Club for an interview on the golf course. Shannon has been playing golf for only a couple of years but helped win her first tournament at the 2007 Women's Sports Foundation Classic that benefits the GoGirlsGo! initiative that get girls involved in sports. Shannon Miller was recently named #5 in the list of top Oklahoma Athletes of All Time. Shannon tops the list for women and took the #5 spot after such great athletes as Jim Thorpe and Mickey Mantle.
