Vote for Magnificent 7!!!

The United States Olympic Committee today announced the finalists for the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame Class of 2008 and invites the public to vote online at usolympichalloffame.com to help determine who will comprise the next class of inductees. Shannon Miller was inducted as an indvidual in 2006 and is up for nomination along with her team, the "Magnificent 7." Vote now for the Mag 7 to be inducted!! |

Great West Gym Fest!

Shannon heads to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho to the Great West Gym Fest. Shannon will join other Olympians, including Jaycie Phelps and Carly Patterson, to visit the gymnasts competing, sign autographs and hand out awards. |

Personal Empowerment Now!

Shannon recently spoke at the Women's Health Day at the Capital presented by the Florida Department of Health and the Women's Legislative Caucus. Shannon spoke on the need for women to empower themselves by living a healthy lifestyle. She discussed physial activity, sound nutrician, oral health, smoking and other topics related to the overall health of all women. Shannon stresses the importance of empowering women with the knowledge and the opportunities they need to lead a healthy lifestyle. |

Governor's Council on Physical Fitness

Shannon Miller, the Co-Chair of the Governor's Council o Pysical Fitness for the state of Florida, chaired their 5th meeting held Tuesday, February 19th in Jacksonville, Florida. This Council was charged with developing a State Plan of Action to increase all Floridians' physical fitness through regular exercise andsound nutrition, and to reduce Florida's rate of obesity and resulting chronic diseases within the next 10 years. Oklahoma City Memorial Kids Marathon

Shannon will once again serve as the Honorary Chairman of the Oklahoma City Kids Memorial Marathon to be held April 25-27. The Kids Marathon helps children to be physically active by logging their 25 miles of training throughout the year. On race day they will run the last 1.2 miles and cross the finish line having completed an entire marathon!!
The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon serves as a reminder of the strength and hope with which people came together after the bombing on April 19, 1995 of the
