Traveler's Pro Am Golf Tournament

Shannon Miller enters her first golf tournatment in 2 1/2 years at the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am in Hartford, Ct. The Travelers Championship will not only include some of the world’s best golfers, but also some of the biggest stars at the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday, June 23. Celebrities and sports personalities will tee it up alongside PGA TOUR professionals at TPC River Highlands. The event will feature Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Michael Bolton, Olympic gold medal skier Bode Miller, Academy Award-winning actor Joe Pesci, six-time National Sportscaster of the Year Chris Berman and Olympic gold medal gymnast Shannon Miller. |

Shannon to speak at West Virginia Physical Activity Symposium

Shannon Miller will be a featured speaker at the West Virginia Physical Activity Symposium on Friday, June 18th. The goal of this symposium is:
- To educate participants about the National Physical Activity Plan and its implications for all sectors of the population.
- To build awareness and support for a statewide strategic plan for physical activity in West Virginia.
- To educate participants on current research and practice related to physical activity in each sector.
- To showcase those physical activity programs and initiatives within the state that model best practices.
