Dr. Stephen Buckley Discusses the Portacath

Shannon’s personal physician, Dr. Stephen Buckley (South East Gynecologic Oncology) discusses the portacath. Shannon received her portacath in early March of 2011 prior to starting her chemotherapy regimen. It was taken out in November of 2011 after succesful treatment for a germ cell malignancy, a rare form of ovarian cancer.
