Great To Be Among Friends

This evening I get to see most of my 1996 teammates. I can’t wait to see them, catch up and celebrate. While I am trying to stay positive and strong as I get closer to my start date, March 7th, I find myself going back and forth between thinking about it as a challenge to take on and simply wanting to be in blissful denial. I guess if I can have more positive days than negative and also find time to think about things other than chemo, then that’s a good thing as well.

I’m looking forward to the competition and seeing so many wonderful friends. It will be a wonderful weekend of distraction!
