What better way to burn some calories than jumping!
At Rebounderz Jacksonville, adults can have fun too and jump on the trampolines while their kids are jumping in the younger area with AirXercise. We had the opportunity to speak with AirXercise’s fitness instructor Megan Garber to help answer some of our questions about family fitness.
What is AirXercise?
- “AirXercise is a boot camp style workout on a trampoline. This is a one hour long workout packed with dynamic exercises ranging from pushups to squats with continuous jumping. In this class, you will constantly be moving and changing levels as our focus is to engage and fatigue as many muscles as possible.”
What are the benefits of trampoline jumping?
- “Jumping on a trampoline is a great exercise because you engage more muscles while decreasing the impact on your joints. Trampoline based workouts utilize more overall body systems and increase your ability to use your cardiovascular system.”
Can my kids jump while I jump?
- “Absolutely! While you are working out, your kids can also be jumping on the separate jumpers. All jumpers are supervised by trained and certified referees who will make sure your kids are safe and having a blast while you are working out.”
When do you offer trampoline jumping classes?
- “Currently, we offer two classes on Tuesday & Thursday. These classes are from 6:15pm-7:15pm and then 7:30pm-8:30pm. The best place to learn about our classes is our Facebook page. We plan to be adding more classes and different style classes this summer. All information will be posted on our website and updated regularly on the Rebounderz Jacksonville Facebook page.”
