Quickfire Challenge #2: Take 5 Minutes to Fight Cellulite

Author: Shannon Miller Lifestyle

woman body with no cellulite

Cellulite is the unevenness of fatty tissue beneath the surface of the skin, resulting in the appearance of dimpled skin on the thighs, hips, buttocks and abdomen.

Cellulite can be a beast to fight.

For today’s Quickfire Challenge Workout, we are doing exercises to target the cellulite specifically on the hips and thighs.

No one is safe from cellulite even if you’re skinny or heavy, especially in women.

It is usually genetic and depends on the make up of the skin. With workouts like this, and the use of balms like Yves Rocher’s: Stubborn Zones with Green Coffee you can see bulges become less noticeable in as little as 15 days! (The green coffee bean is combined with cola extract to promote a less fatty appearance, while copaïba essential oil is traditionally renown for its soothing power). Yes!

We want to workout to target cellulite in two ways:

  1. Burn the fat: to burn fat, you have to move. When you move, you burn calories and fat.
  2. Tone the muscle: toned muscle gives the skin shape. Skin with shape is less likely to show cellulite.

Walking lunges, squats, and varying deadlifts are all great exercises to move while toning up. Floor exercises that keep the body moving and the tension in the lower body also help to burn calories while toning up. Any exercise that adds balance to the mix is going to add a challenge element for a better workout, but will also add a core workout to the mix, so try some balance exercises, even if you can only do a little bit. Get movin’ with Shannon below today in just five minutes!
