When is the last time you have had a good laugh?
A really good, doubled over, side splitting laugh until your cried laugh? Well, if you haven’t had one of those in a while you may want to try.
Laughter is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Nothing can work faster to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert.
How good is laughter for your health?

- triggers the release of endorphins.
Not only is there physical benefits to laughter, but there are mental and social benefits as well. The old saying that “laughter is the best medicine” is actually true.
According to a recent study by cardiologists at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, laughter, along with an active sense of humor, may help protect you against a heart attack. The study found that people with heart disease were 40 percent less likely to laugh in a variety of situations compared to people of the same age without heart disease.
Laughter just makes you feel good. It makes people appealing to one another and keeps you feeling more positive. People like to be around other people that make them laugh and feel good. Laughing with others is a lot more fun than laughing alone!
