The unwanted “blemish.”
When you begin to get ready to go out with your ladies, you notice that huge pimple on your face. You think there’s nothing worse than taking pictures with that big thing right in the middle of your face. Well, thanks to Ford model Shelley Goodstein, for explaining to us just how to help conceal that unwanted monster, which can also be found in her book, Face This.
- Goodstein says you want to start by getting the swelling down by putting ice on your little monster.
- Next, whatever you use to get the redness out of your eyes can work on your pimple too. Soak a cotton swab in the solution and place it on your pimple for five minutes.
- If the pimple is oozing then use a tinted blemish cream or if it’s been popped then moisturize the area.
- When applying makeup to conceal it, you don’t want to draw more attention to it so Goodstein says to use a yellow-based concealer that is close to your skin color and with a brush (not your fingers), dab the pimple at all angles, while avoiding the surrounding area. Afterwards you may blend it in, but do not touch the pimple.
- For a final touch, blot loose powder with an eyebrow brush. Now you won’t be able to notice that dreadful little monster on your face in your pictures.
