Going to a ball game is great fun for the whole family and promotes family togetherness. But, hot dogs and nachos are not the best choice for family nutrition. Plus, you aren’t playing ball, so there is not a lot of movement going on other than the 7th inning stretch.
Fit Choice: Get a neighborhood game going.
Hit the park with neighborhood friends or bring a ball down to the hoop. Collect neighbors and close families, and play a little ball on your own! Bring a collection of smart snacks, like raw nuts and fruits, and you have a fun, impromptu get together!
