What is Shannon Miller Foundation Running Club?

In January 2012, SMF launched the Shannon Miller Foundation Running Club, making tools available which allow children to be physically active in our schools and community and to stress the importance of setting and achieving goals. The SMF Running Club is a 14 week program that seeks to help children become more active, fit, and instill a love of physical activity through walking, running, skipping or any type of forward motion. We currently support over 8,000 children in the Jacksonville area. The Foundation offers t-shirts to foster team/community spirit and tokens and awards to recognize achievements. If your school or nonprofit would like to get involved please contact Jackie Culver at [email protected].
